We are probably in the middle of the biggest revolution, ever seen in the history of mankind. Because with the ubiquitous availability of artificial intelligence, the world is changing inexorably. And it will be up to us and our consciousness how we shape this change.

The value of knowledge

For me, intelligence was and still is extremely important in my life. I was shaped very early on to believe that nothing would be as important as knowledge. That gave me a tremendous curiosity throughout my life. I always wanted to know and understand how things work - systems, technologies, societies. And people.

In many contexts, however, I had to learn that knowledge, intelligence and logic are not always and everywhere the highest guideline on which success and decisions depend. But that it often also depends on Charm or soft skills matters. And sometimes also on Power or volume. This often did not lead to the best results for the entire system or my employer - but to a result that served individuals or individual structures.

The quiet revolution of logic

However, this will now change with the advent of omnipresent intelligence. I am convinced of that. We will experience a world in which the loudest or most aggressive no longer set the tone. Because we will always and everywhere have the opportunity, to question decisions and thoughts. Because we can enrich them with intelligence and logic in a matter of seconds. Because we now literally carry this ability in our pocket. And will learn to use it to make better decisions. Not louder ones.

But this requires an essential characteristic: Humility.

Humility in the fact that there is something that knows more than you can ever know as an individual. And that this is okay.

AI between probabilities and new logics

This change is monumental and its magnitude can hardly be estimated today. AI systems currently work primarily with Probabilities and recognized correlations in data. At the same time, recent development leaps - such as the move from early ChatGPT versions to models like o3 with greater integration of external logics and tools - showed how rapidly the field is moving towards networked, justifiable decisions.

It is hard to predict what the next iterations will bring - except that the move could once again be bigger than we expect. And that could bring far-reaching changes.

When knowledge is no longer a competition

Our current social system in the western world is strongly based on Competition - on a large and small scale. People want to assert themselves against others, companies want to assert themselves against other companies. However, if this competence no longer exists as „master knowledge“ in individual people, but is outsourced to a higher-level intelligence, the Competition for knowledge are becoming increasingly less important.

These thoughts frighten many people. It creates the Fear of becoming obsolete yourself - no longer have any meaning in this new world. This fear is understandable. Especially people like me, for whom intelligence and knowledge have always been a distinguishing factor, are frightened by the thought that something that has given them an advantage could suddenly no longer be worth anything.

In my opinion, however, it is worth looking at the whole thing from a different perspective: not as a loss, but as an invitation. As an invitation to ask ourselves what takes its place. What we do want, when we no longer have many must.

The future belongs to resonance

For me, this is also the biggest challenge that artificial intelligence brings with it. We will have to think at a social and philosophical level about what we humans will do in the future. want. Maybe even: WHO we want to be. In a future in which repetitive activities and mental tasks can gradually be taken over by an intelligence that is superior to us.

Then you could Resonance become a decisive issue.

I am convinced that our future task lies in creating resonance - with each other, in real contact. To perceive each other as creative, sentient, creative beings who create together. With a virtually inexhaustible and benevolent knowledge at our side.

That is (and always has been) exactly what drives me as a moderator: Building conversation architectures that tame complexity and enable real encounters - so that knowledge becomes impact.

A new meaning of intelligence

To do this, however, we must overcome our fear that at some point, and possibly quite soon, we will no longer be the Crown of intelligence to be. And find the courage to create a new Meaning to discover.

I am watching this development with excitement. And with joy. Because I love change. And because I am convinced that it will reshape humanity on a large scale. I am thrilled to be able to experience and help shape this.

But this requires Awareness - the awareness that we more than simply being „better“ than someone else.
